Yes I have life insurance with Manulife. I think everybody need to have life insurance.

We don't have much choice, do we? We have only 5 major banks to chose from - TD Bank, Royal Bank, Bank of Montréal, Scotia Bank and CIBC... I would vote for Royal Bank. If I have to chose... :lol:

Right now it is best to wait the markets to cool down - every day we have such swings - it is unbelievable. If you keep your cash maybe this will be your best investment :)

If you didn't lose them by now I say keep the cash and wait for better times. A lot of people lost money trying to "invest" so if I had that kind of cash I would keep it close to me.

credit card application refused

I need a credit card but my bank refused to give me one. What should I do? I am paying my mortgage and they refused my application for credit card. Why?
Any suggestions where to try for credit card?

My mortgage is up for renewal and I don't know what to chose - fixed or variable rate? What do you thing is best? I thought maybe fixed rate is better since the economy is unstable but some people are telling me to chose variable again - I am kind of weary on the variable mortgage right now...

Hi, I'm new to this.
Can someone please explain to me the difference between Debit Card and Credit Card? I am 19
and I want to have bank account and credit card. Am I going to be approved right away?
