yes you need the money, but think again before going for the loan. While most will deny, but I believe that finally your loan will be approved - you are bound to find someone who will issue it. however the terms will be steep including the interest rate and thus there is a risk involved. Yes this wil depend on a lot of factors such as the actual terms of the loan, the policies of the lending agency, the kind of agency that is issuing the loan, the period of the loan, your credit rating and others.

Everyone should have an emergency fund and there is no specific rule like you should have 3 months or 6 months salary.

You should have that much of amount that can help you in any type of financial problem.

It depends upon the type of investments.

If you are buying stocks, then you have to re-think.

But real estate/property investment is not much bad. You can invest any time. :)
