good or bad experince with Canadian banks

Postby sunshine » Tue Jun 03, 2008 7:37 pm

I was thinking of sharing some stories about the bad/good customer service experience that you had at any of the Canadian banks.

What is your worst/excellent experience with a teller at you local branch?

I bank with Bank of Montreal and I don't have any complaints about them. Keep in mind that I do most of my banking online, so I guess somebody else doing their banking at a bank branch might have completely different experience.

I bank with Scotia bank. Yesterday I went to my safety deposit box and the teller could not open the safe for more than 20 minutes. I guess he was new but still... This is not the first time I have problems with the tellers. I don't know what kind of training they get but it is not sufficient. So my advice is - go somewhere else
