Bargains & Discounts & Coupons & Saving Tips for Canadians

I've read in a magazine that a very good way to save is to collect and use the store coupons and to buy only when something is on sale. I certainly agree that this will save you money but does it worth the research and the wait to finally find something on sale....? Most of the times when you need shoes you need them right away and you can’t wait for a sale because it will be too late. Same goes for groceries…
Well for me it all depends on the value of the thing you are buying. If I'm buying a car, I'll definitely will look for deep discounts, as this can save me thousands of dollars, but for small stuff like groceries I usually don't bother.
